TennisMen's and Women's tennis continues to grow and thrive at St. Michael under head coach Ronny Bran. The girls varsity tennis team worked hard this year and improved every match. They took first place at the Class 4A-5A Sectionals tournament for the 2nd year in a row and qualified for state as a team and individually. Senior,Emma Ward finished 2nd in the 4A-5A 6th Flight at the AHSAA State Tournament. The boys team is a small but determined team that improved greatly this year as well. Congrats on an amazing season!

Baseball
The baseball team this year set the school record for wins in a season and had the first ever winning baseball season in STM history going 17-13. There were several big wins over some quality teams such as UMS-Wright, St. Stanilaus, and Orange Beach. Evan Brewer had 32 stolen bases and led the team in batting average. The team had a team batting average over 300 for the season. Other highlights include Noah Mosley signing to play at Stillman College and Cam Kerbl being named to the North South All Star team. Extremely proud of the progress of the baseball program and looking forward to the future with hopefully some improved facilities on campus

Men's Soccer
Men's Soccer had an amazing season ending it as the 5A State Champions for the first time ever in school history! They started the season with hard competition playing bigger schools on the road. By the time they hit area play they were playing well together as a team and despite injuries pushed through to finish with a record of 18 wins, 8 losses and 4 ties. The won the 5A, region 1 area title and then went on to dominate in the State final 5-1 over Springville. Coach Tito Rodriquez and many of his players received all coastal and all area honors. We are so excited for this team and proud of all they accomplished this 2026season.

Womens Soccer
St. Michael Women's had another great season! The girls worked hard throughout the season and defeated area winner, Elberta, to earn a spot in the AHSAA State Tournament in Huntsville. This was their 4th year in a row to compete in the state tournament. They were defeated by Indian Springs in state play ending their season with 13 wins, 8 losses and 3 ties. Head coach, Brian Daughtery and several players received all state and all coastal honors.

Track and FieldCardinals Track and field had outstanding season in 2026. From Indoor Track to Outdoor Track several athletes set personal records and placed at sectionals and earned spots at the state finals. State highlights include:★Brent Acker had an exceptional showing, winning the 400m with the 14th-fastest time in Alabama across all divisions. He also placed 2nd in the 200m and 3rd in the 100m.★Addison Silvernail also earned 2nd place in pole vault clearing 11 ft. Addison was also the state champion in Indoor Track! She signed with Barry to continue pole vaulting at the college level.★Emily Friedel placed 3rd in the 1600m, 4th in the 3200m, and recorded a season-best time in the 800m, finishing 12th.★Eli Navarre tied for 2nd place in pole vault. Eli finished 3rd place in Indoor Track!★Carolina Geary finished 4th place in pole vault.★Franklin Kasch ran a strong 800m final, finishing just one second shy of his personal best despite difficult wind conditions.We are so proud of this team and all they accomplished this season!

Mens GolfSt. Michael Men's Golf had a very successful season with the leadership of our seven seniors. The team improved all season to peak in the playoffs with 6 kids qualifying for Substate. Beckett Carr, Mercer Stankoski, Bryce Marston, Price McHenry, William Erickson, and Grady Saltz shot a school record low of 318 tying for 4th place. Beckett Car shot a low 76. We are very proud of how far this team has come and all they accomplished this year.

Womens Golf
This season was a year of growth for St. Michael Women's Golf team. The girls made a great improvements in course management and putting while continuing to develop their overall game. We would like to thank our six seniors for their leadership and dedication to the program. As we prepare for next season, we encourage all players to stay active on the course this summer and continue building for next year’s season. -
Softball
2026 Softball was a young team this year with a lot of potential. For the first time ever, they were victorious over Elberta. Other highlights over the season, included big wins over McGill Toolen and Pensacola Catholic. They ended the season 9-20 but are very excited to have all starteres returning for the next season. We are proud of this team who played hard and with determination. Go Cardinals!
