Our Mission
At St. Michael Catholic High School, our mission is to form students into "scholars, leaders, and disciples of Jesus Christ." This guiding vision encourages both current and prospective students to reflect on their desire to be a part of our mission, fostering a sense of belonging and direction within our community. It serves as a beacon for our students, staff, and families to align with the school’s core values and aspirations.
Core Values - S.W.O.R.D.
Our Core Values are encapsulated in the acronym S.W.O.R.D., symbolizing the principles that guide our community:
- Service: Growing in service to God and others, emphasizing the value of using our gifts to serve those around us, as highlighted in 1 Peter 4:10.
- Wisdom & Optimism: Fostering knowledge, humility, and a Christ-centered hope, while embracing the joy of the Lord as mentioned in Proverbs 3:13 and Philippians 4:4.
- Responsibility: Encouraging accountability, both to ourselves and to God, as a vital aspect of our growth, inspired by Romans 14:12.
- Discipleship: Cultivating a life that embodies the teachings of Jesus, striving to share His message of love, as reflected in John 13:35.
Our Journey Together
Each year, we emphasize a different value to integrate deeply into the life of our school, ensuring that our community—students, staff, and families—continually grows in alignment with these guiding principles. This intentional focus allows us to uphold our vision and to provide a faith-filled environment where everyone can thrive spiritually, academically, and personally.
We invite you to join us on this journey of faith, learning, and growth. Together, we aim to continue the legacy of St. Michael, leading with a commitment to our values and a dedication to becoming true disciples of Christ.
